A family member has an old toshiba lap top that has windows 10, I believe it is a 32 bit system, windows 10 32 bit recovery disk download, but I am unable to verify this since windows 10 32 bit recovery disk download computer is not booting up. I am attempting to create a boot disk using my PC but I have read somewhere that I can not boot a 32 bit with a 64 bit repair disk. I have a quick few questions though before proceeding. As I am at this screen, it will not allow me to continue for the stated reason that "The selected disk has an MBR partition table. On EFI systems, Windows can only be installed to GPT disks. Also, I am unable to view this computers license key, so how can I ensure I am installing a valid copy of this program. Since this is a hand me down computer, I do not have the disk with the original operating system which I am sure was windows 8.
Once I am done erasing the partitions and downloading the operating system again, how can I verify I had a valid license? The only thing I can think of is requesting a copy of the OS from toshiba. I had to do this years ago for a computer with windows 7.
